KCR felicitates Karate Champ Syeda Falak on Telangana Formation Day Celebrations
On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day Celebrations, Honourable Chief Minister of the state K Chandrashekhar Rao felicitated and honoured International Karate Champion Syeda Falak.
She is also known as the Golden Girl Of Hyderabad. She awarded with a cheque of Rs 5,00,000 Lakhs for achieving many awards for the state of Telangana and the country.
It was a sudden surprise for Syeda Falak and she was very happy. She said that she is very honoured and humbled to Receive cash and award from the Father of Telangana, who was an Inspirational figure for Falak.
Syeda Falak was born on 22 April 1994 in Hyderabad, India. She is a karate athlete representing India at World Karate Championships and Asian Karate Championships.
She is the first and only Telanganite to have been qualified to represent India at the World Karate Championship and also the first Telanganite to win the Senior National Karate Championship. She has won multiple titles at International and National Level. Representing India at US Open Karate Championship 2016, Falak Won a Gold Medal in the competition.
Born in Hyderabad to Syed Shah Majaz Ul Haq, Falak is a Graduate of Bachelor of political science from Villa Marie Degree College, Hyderabad. She started learning Karate at the age of 12 years when Karate Classes were introduced in her school.
