Apple CEO Tim Cook Announced new iOS Application Development Centre in Bengaluru
Apple has announced its first iOS App Design and Development Centre in Bengaluru with CEO Tim Cook visiting India this week. Earlier on Wednesday, Tim Cook had visited Mumbai’s Shiddhivinayak temple after completion of business meetings.
“India is home to one of the most vibrant and entrepreneurial iOS development communities in the world,” Cook said in a press statement. “With the opening of this new facility in Bengaluru, we are giving developers access to tools which will help them create innovative apps for customers around the world.”
Apple’s team will work to instruct and encourage iOS developers on best practices, help them hone their skills and transform the design, quality and performance of their apps on the iOS platform.
At the centre, Apple’s experts will provide one-on-one app reviews for developers. The facility will also provide support and guidance on Swift, which is Apple’s programming language to help build apps for iOS, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch.

Apple CEO, Cook is also set to inaugurate a development centre for maps in Hyderabad on Thursday.The California based technology giant, which is better known as the manufacturer of popular gadgets iPhone and iPad, is reported to have taken about 150,000 sq.ft area on lease in Hyderabad.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, who arrived in the country on tuesday night, is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and another important ministers including finance minister Arun Jaitley.
